Adolphe A.H. Daenen (1921–2012) was a prominent Belgian sculptor born in Seraing, Liège. He was highly active throughout the second half of the 20th century, developing a reputation for creating unique, tactile three-dimensional art pieces.

Daenen was a versatile artist who worked across several styles and mediums. His work is generally characterized by:Diverse Mediums: He sculpted using stone, wood, composite stone, plaster, and glazed terracotta.

 He was known for taille directe (direct carving) when working with wood, giving his pieces a highly raw and authentic finish.
